Personal
Information:
I
was born in New Orleans, Louisiana but I grew up in
the small town of New Baden, Illinois (about 30
miles from St. Louis, MO). I graduated from Mater
Dei High School in 1982; and, in 1986 I graduated
from Washington University in St. Louis with a
double major in Psychology and Sociology. I went on
to study Developmental Psychology in graduate
school at the University of Notre Dame. I completed
my Ph.D. there in 1994. My specialization is
Gerontology but I also enjoy working with children.
My other interests include travel, scuba diving,
watching Notre Dame footbal, and spoiling my two
dogs rotten!
